Earlier last week I made an appointment to have two tires replaced, an inspection, and an oil change done on my wifes avalon at the ntb on preston rd in frisco texas. When I arrived I found out their computers had crashed and I no longer had an appointment. It was disappointing to hear this and the person working the counter didn't have much more to say than tough luck. Since I wasn't far from home I called my wife to pick me up and left my car with ntb to have the work done.in the end I paid 300 dollars to replace two tires, inspection, and oil change. Besides having my appointment erased by the computers crashing I was overall pleased.
This weekend I noticed the trailer tire on my boat was severely worn. I called discount tire and ntb to get quotes. Discoutn tire was 75 bucks and ntb was 81. I heard about the price matching so I asked if ntb would match the price. I thought 6 bucks wouldn't be that big of an issue considering the additional wait I experienced earlier in the week but I was certainly wrong. The manager i spoke with told me I would have to get the printed price, print it out and bring it into the store to get the discount. It wasn't worth the time and effort to do over 6 bucks so I have decided to go back to discount tire and continue giving them my business. NTB you lost a customer over your general lack of care and unwillingness to take 6 bucks off the price of a tire.
