I purchased a Visa Gift Card from Wegman's in Fairfax Virginia. I was not aware that if I tried to use the Card at a gas station pump swipe the gas station would freeze the card and make it unusable.
I now have a $100 Visa Gift Card that cannot be used for 3 or more business days. This is a huge rip off! I asked the Customer Service at Visa who earns the interest on my frozen account. They had no idea what I was talking about.
Do not buy a Visa Gift Card! Give cash instead!
