I went in originally at this location to get an oil change. Advertised for 24.99. I left the shop to walk back to my apartment at approx 11:00am, i told them i had an appointment at three o'clock. That appointment was a client.
I figured four hours was more than enough time to do my oil change. With that oil change came a free tire rotation. And many other services that checked the status of your car.
The shop called me at 1:00pm to tell me that someone (who ever had put on my right front driver tire last) had miss threaded the lug nuts. So they had to replace the lug nuts and the wheel studs on the front left tire. The parts, roughly twenty bucks, the labor 95! I said, well i cant afford that. They said, and i quote, "well, we can't put the tire back on without it."
The last people to touch that tire was another Tire kingdom on Fowler and 50th. Let's see. They screwed it up, and now they want me to pay someone three hours after i dropped off my car to fix something they broke? I said fine do it, but this left me with nine dollars in my account!
I had not heard from the since that one pm phone call, and with my appointment being at 3pm, i started walking back to the shop at two thirty, on the way there of course it pours rain. I get there at 240pm, and my car is still up in the air!
Now i understand these guys are busy, but my car has been there for hours, they said it would be done by two pm, i have a client to meet at three. So i have to cancel my client, losing money there, i am soaked to the bone standing in the waiting room, and still have no car.
When my car finally gets done, its 4pm. I tell the man at the Desk, hey look the last people to touch this tire, was a tire kingdom. He says "well maybe you can take this receipt to them and get your money back."
Are you serious!? I left crying, having no money in my account. My car was there for a total of five hours, i paid $170.00. Went in for a 25.00 oil change, left with two new lug nuts??? Kinda confused.
