The 1999 f-250 power stroke fuel consumption is horrible. Ihave installed cold air intake, 4 inch exhaust, synthetic oil, and a performance chip. 16 miles per gallon is the best i can get out of her. What burns me is a fellow told me his 1999 with 300k ran 32 miles per gallon after he set his truck the same way and piped the exhaust straight out (removed muffler) Is my poor mileage as a result of only having 119k and still having a muffler??? I pulled out my window stickers for my 1995 and 1996 trucks. Oh well my mistake is I did not look for gallons per mile city or highway. No more ford diesels. I have been displeased with the trucks performance from the begining
