Complaint / review text:
I purchased a van from Kolar in December of 02. Since that time I have had it in the shop 19 times.
Everything ranging from brakes to blown engines, yes there is an s at the end of engine. It is on its 3rd engine.
The first time that it blew up I allowed Kolars incompetent staff to fix it. And that was a big mistake.
They installed a "new" engine and I later found out as I was on a trip out of town that the service man that had fixed my van had dropped a bolt in my motor. Thus causing it to blow up agian!
Got it back to Kolar (on my car trailer and with my gas) and tried to help them wash their hands of the whole situation by them taking my van back and then giving us a good deal on another car on their lot.
I had to speak with their general manager, David Solan and when I did he refused to deal with me and acted like he nor his company had done any wrong. He was arrogant and rude when I tried to reason with him.
I din't allow Kolar to fix my van with the 3rd motor. I brought it to a competent dealer and they fixed it right. All on Kolar's insurance.
But it is now my mission to inform as many consumers as possible. I know that I will never shop at that dealer again.
