I bought a 2003 ford escape from a local dealer in nov. It had 25030 miles. 21 months later the engine blew at 31000 miles. The dealer i bought it from went out of business. The dealer that wants to charge me $3500.00 for a new engine can not tell me what caused the engine to blow. I did all required service and the oil was full. The national customer service said there was nothing they could do. $3500.00 for less than 6000 miles... What a ripoff.
