This site is a scam - will not post derogatory reviews of paying car dealerships

I purchased a vehicle from North Central Ford and had a bad experience and wanted other consumers to know how my transaction went. I posted a truthful review on www.DealerRater.com about my experience and immediately received the following email:

Thank you for submitting a review about your recent dealership experience to DealerRater. Please note that your review has gone live; however, the review will be examined by our Content Monitoring Team to ensure it complies with DealerRater's Terms of Use Policy. Should the review violate the Terms of Use, you will be notified via email. You may also edit your review comments at any time by accessing the link below to your account. Http://www.dealerrater.com/dealer/add-review. Aspx? DealerId=10128&reviewId=692617We are very happy to have you as a member of the DealerRater community. Your comments are valuable to the DealerRater community and help others make informed decisions. Thank you, The DealerRater Support Team

However I did not see my review on the site. I wanted for a week and when it never appeared I send an inquiry and got the following response back:

Dear Michael,

Thank you for submitting a Dealer review about your recent Dealership experience to DealerRater. Your comments are valuable to the DealerRater community and help others make informed decisions.

The Dealership you reviewed participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program. These Dealers are committed to providing high quality customer service. We are disappointed to see that based on your rating review, you did not share that experience. This Certified Dealer may contact you over the next two weeks through DealerRater's Dealer Panel, a private message board, to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at their Dealership. Your email or contact information will not be provided to the Dealership.

We are encouraged to see Dealers working to resolve issues with DealerRater community members and for that reason allow a grace period of two weeks from the time your email is submitted until it is posted. Your review is scheduled to Go Live: 6/14 4:29: 14 PM. If you would like to edit your review for any reason please log into your account to make this change.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on DealerRater.

Sincerely,
Virginia Peterson

As you can see this second email clearly contradicts the first email.

A week later I received the following email attempting to get me to interact with the dealer or my review will be removed:

Hello,
You are receiving this email because North Central Ford has sent you a message about your review. They have NOT been given access to your email address, which is why you are receiving this from DealerRater.

You must acknowledge receipt of this message by viewing the message, otherwise your review may be removed.

As you can see, this is a total scam. I had a legitimate complaint that other consumers need to know about but because North Central Ford pays this site they are effectively controlling reviews which makes the entire site untrustworthy.
