Ripped us off 10,000 dollars, lied to us left us stuck paying for a dead horse!

We bought a 2000 Chrysler Intrepid from them approx 3 months ago. When we were shopping we specifically told the salesman Gary what we wanted a van or a bigger car. The color silver, and price range around 10,000 dollars. A nice used vehicle.

We were very specific and up front w/him. We told him we didnt want to be lied to or shafted because we already had been by a previous company, and have smartened up to car dealerships.

We purchased the car. We drove it for a few days and the oil light came on. We took it back to them, they put it in the shop said it was just the oil sensor switch, they replaced it.

Another week or so went by, then it started making noises. We took it back to the service station again. They said the rear sway bar/bushings needed replacing.

Needless to say a week or so went by again and oops we noticed the car was leaking oil. Back the car goes again to the service center.

This time the car was there we went in to the service station and talked to the gentleman working on it. He began pointing out all the things wrong w/the car.

He told us the more he tore our car apart he believed the car had a junk yard engine in it. There was numerous things wrong w/the car. They told us they fixed it.

We were furious when he told us the car was junk. We then went back to our salesman and asked him what to do, because we didnt feel comfortable paying 10,000 dollars for junk. He spoke w? The general manager Brian Sweet and told us they would get us out of that car, and find us something else.

We then got a call a few days later saying they were going to fix the car up. We didnt like that idea seeing there was so much wrong w/the car and they refused to replace the engine. They gave us an extended warranty and told us they took care of all the problems.

A little time passed and we started noticing some new problems. The car came back to us loud. They fixed the muffler. The car was shimmying. It still was leaking oil.

We then told them we were going to do the lemon law, so they told us not to do that they would do good by us. The general manager Brian Sweet then told us he was going to start looking for a car for us. We told him we wanted that in writing so we knew they werent just saying that.

They came up w/vehicles they wanted us to take. One time they wanted us to swap even up for a year older car w / double the miles on it. Nope were not that dumb. Approximately 4-6 weeks went by and still couldnt find us a car at the auctions.

The transmission starts slipping. We then said come on we have been dealing w/this for 3 months now. We just want a similar vehicle. Silver, approx same miles, same price range

In the meantime while they were fixing our car again they gave us a loaner. We stopped by one Friday afternoon to check in. Brian Sweet says i think i have something here for yous. He showed us a Chrysler Sebring. It was silver, approx same mileage. We thought yeah finally a decent car. We went in to check on price of car, nope wanted almost 16,000 dollars. It wouldve made our payments go up, we didnt want that. We were very specific coming in on price range and payments. We were prepared.

Mr. Brian Sweet then slammed his hands on desk and started shouting at us. He got in Scotts face and said some things that were very unneccasary. They told us they werent going to get us a different car. We needed to quit being so picky. No its called we went in there telling them what we wanted. If your paying 10,000 dollars for something you expect to get what you want.

This is a long story and we could go on for hours on all the things that company has put us through.

I wouldnt advise anybody to buy a vehicle from them.

They are now trying to do the same thing to another couple we know. Only that they cant lie to him because he was a mechanic. They tried to though.

Good luck to everybody that purchases a vehicle from them.
