This Charlie Reeves has an ad in the green sheet newspaper stating that he will finance a repair. I called and talked to him & he eplaine how it works. Sounded ok to e & he said he would cal me back.instead Ihad a toll truckdriver arrive unexpectedly & he told me Charlie said to take the car to the shop which is around the corner from my home. After a week goes by I don't hear anything I went up to the shop (5th) and the mechanic tells me & shows me what my car needs. I called him & got no answer. This is ongoing for another week. I return back on the 12th & the mechanic says he already bought the parts but he is waiting on the go ahead to repair. Again I call Mr Reeves and he texts me that he is in church. He returns my call around 5:30 and says my car will be ready on Tuesday (15th) It isn't. On Thursday the mechanic calls & says it is ready. I called him & he said to meet him at the shop at 4:20. I waited til after 6 and he never showed. Now to get ahold of the honest mechanic! He keeps telling me he is just down he street but again he never shows. Finaly he comes to my house to bring me a credit application so we can finalized the arrangement? The arrangement is that I will put 400.00 down & the balance in bi-weekly payment.
After that he never showed back up. I thought for sure I would have the car by Saturday (19th) but I got another excuse that he was at the hospital all nite, nephew had gotten shot. I'm sorry but that has nothing to do with me. Now his pone goes to voice mail & no I don't get a call back. I need my vehicle. It's hard to get a ride home for my daughter if she is working till after midnight.
I really believe he is trying to keep my car. Either that or he is trying to get more money out of me.
