Sent money order for a part and never received it and no response

I ran a wanted ad for a part for a antique farm tractor and the party responded claiming he had the part and we agreed on a price and I sent him a money order. He then claimed an outrages shipping fee and then claimed he sent it. He then sent me a bogus confirmation form and now he won't respond at all.
