Aamco Transmissions
Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

Recently my car was having problem changing from one gear to the next, therefore I suspected that it might have been the transmission because of the sound that the car was making and the resiliency to accelerate at a constant velocity.

I immediately had the car checked by many mechanics who are expert in the work of transmissions and confirm that it was a transmission problem. Desperate to get my car fixed well and fast I ran to the professionals and ask Aamco transmissions to fixed the problem.

At first, I spoke to this guy named Andre and he told me that he would cost me $325 for the labor and any additional fee would be strictly for parts. After they had taken the transmission apart, I suddently received an estimate which was approximately $1700: to be exact the amount was $1672.09. When I was called to pick up since they claimed it was done, I asked for a receipt for the new parts that were brought and put in my car. Clearly I noticed that David was very insulted and immediately started raising his voice and even yelled out a few words of profanity.

I was very furious and I asked to speak to the boss which was David. David was very defensive and got even more frustrated till he got to the point where he started to threat to put a lean on my car right at the momment if I did not want to pay without any legible proof of the parts that were supposibly brought. Because I did not want to leave my under the hands of those crooks not even a minute longer, so I decided to pay the price in order to pick up my car. Andre and his acolyte -David provided me with a boggus report which I questioned instantaneously.

To start there was minimal improvements in the car after I had in fact pay all that money to get it fixed. Moreover, on their report they listed my car a 3.8 engine when indeed it was a 4.0. I even went as far as checking with the dealer to verify the size of the engine and they told me that they don't even make Grand Cherokee in 3.8. Furthermore I checked prices at some of the most common auto parts around to find out that some of the prices were inflated by as much as 4 to 5 times the initial price.

For instance, I was charged $25.99 for a valve cover gasket when in fact my research reflects that the average price for a valve cover gasket was within the reange of $3-$7.in addition to that they charged for torque converter, after shopping different auto parts, I realized that the price was thus inflated by approximately $250. Conclusively I found that nothing in their boggus and fradulent report was true and I'm left with my same pre existed problem that I had in fact pay them to fix. If there is a God as I believe in justice should and rendered against those crooks who rob of both the service and the money that I paid for it
