Since I had lifetime warrenty on my brakes I called Midas Monday April 30 complaining that my brakes were going to the floor and I think they are scrubbing. Midas told me to bring it in so they Midas Almost killed me

Since I had lifetime warrenty on my brakes I called Midas Monday April 30 complaining that my brakes were going to the floor and I think they are scrubbing. Midas told me to bring it in so they could check them well upon taking my tires off they messed the lock on my custom rims. The manager said it is not the lock just the bolt so it will not affect you rims dumb me to believe him.

Upon inspecting the brakes so they told me the manager said they were metalk to metal and that the rotors had to be replaced. I asked him could they resurface them or turn them the manager said that they were too bad for that and iot had to be replaced and the total will be 489.00 for replacing rotors because this is the reason why it will not stop. I thought that was high but I paid it because I needed my car to get to work and go to the hospital to see my dad.

Well after 6 long hours Midas told me my car was fixed and ready. When I got to the stopped sign I stopped fine. When I got to the red light on the road the pedal went to the floor but it stopped. I thought maybe it was air in the brakes and if I drive it a little longer it would stop well it did not. That night going home I tried to stop at a red light and slid through it because my brakes would not work.

That morning me and my friend took the car back and explain to them the car was not fixed. Midas checked it and came back to tell me the master cylider was gone and it would be 257.00 to fix it with 30$ off. I said sir you should have seen this before I drove off yesterday and if I would have killed myself or ran into the back of someone 30$ would not have help and I am not paying for something that your mechanics did not fix when I told you what the problem was yesterday.

So we left and I got the number of the owner and cxalled and explain to him what was going on. I also told him about me sliding through the red light and almost killing myself. Then he said well I just talked with the manager at the store and thats not what he told me. Then he started explaing all these things about brakes. I said sir i do not understand so can you tell my boyfriend this because he will understand better than I can.

He said very harshly I do not want to talk to him and let me ask you this did you hit anybody in the back or get hurt I said no but I could have. The owner then said well if u did not what is the problem. You either pay for services or go somewhere else and I was so shocked that he said that I told him I was going to call corporate. He said go ahead they will call me and I will explain everthing to them better yet geta lwer tell him to call me or give me his number I will call him for you.

I just hung up. Then he called back twice I did not answer the phone. I had to find another mechanic and when this mechanic open my hood the latch to hold the stick was broke and I knoe midas did it also this mechanic checked my car and said it is not the master cylinder it is the left rear caliber that is gone this is the reason why the car slides when it stops. He had to fix my car and I had to pay more money to this mechanic for something Midas did not check.

But on the paper work Midas gave me it states they check and that was a bunch of bull also this mechanic showed me how Midas mess the locks up on my custom rims by breaking the lock and putting a screw to keep the tire on. I am wondering do I have a case or what should I do I am fighting with corporate to get my money back. But I really wish I can sue them.
