I purchased a scooter from genoa motorsports inc and was "helped" by the owner Larry Goldstein. I live in Wisconsin so I picked it out online and ordered it over the phone. I even paid extra to have it shipped to their shop in loves park to be put together and inspected before i picked it up. So I sent the check through the mail and waited for the scooter to arrive. Of course the check was cashed as soon as they recieved it.
When the week my scooter was supposed to arrive came i didn't hear from anyone that the scooter had arrived so i called down to see What was going on and was told that my scooter was there and had been put together and inspected and was ready to be picked up. So that saturday i rented a u-haul trailer and drove down 3 hours to pick it up. When i arrived i was pretty dissappointed to find that it was the wrong color, especially when i paid extra to have it inspected before i drove all the way down there. So Larry said he would order the right scooter and have it shipped to me in Wisconsin. So again i waited for my scooter to arrive, after many calls and no returned phone calls i finally got a hold of Larry. He told me oh yeah they're loading it up right now my driver will call you and deliver it tomorrow. Well i didn't get a call and waited around all day and the driver never showed up. After many more unreturned calls to Larry i finally got ahold of him and he told me his driver had gotten a flat tire and it would be there the following sunday. Once again i waited around all day and no scooter. After this happened once more i told him i wanted my money back he said no problem the check is in the mail.
After not recieving the check for over a week I called again and he said he Would check into it and call me back. He never did so after a few more days I called back and he said there was a delay at the post office and I would have it the next day. It didn't come so I called again. This time he said he would cancel the first check and send another one and he even gave me a tracking number. The tracking number was real and I kept checking on it but the check was never sent out so I called again and was once again told there was a delay at the post office. I am now fed up with Larry Goldstein and unfortunately have to get a lawyer involved. Please do not ever do business with Larry Goldstein!!!
