I bought a brand new 2010 toyota tacoma 4x4 4cylinder in 2011. I'd to travel to PA to obtain it (from Houston) becuase there have been no 4x4 standard trans. 4-cyl vans in Houston at that time. Since I bought it I have had issues with the clutch, sliding, the automobile doesn't have energy, it gets horrible fuel useage to get a 4 cyl engine. I first documented clutch issues at 5K miles, on the other hand about 10K miles. The shops below all inform me the cannot find something wrong. My spouse & I visited NM for Christmas and required the vehicle having a little 500lb truck along with a 4-wheeler and also the vehicle would not draw this up a small slope! Required it again in Jan. Which period the clutch slipped so poor it began using up! Toyota warranty changed it in around. Feb. Therefore March we got it back again to NM to test the Brand New clutch by having an 800 pound payload (500 pound truck 300-lb device) which clutch burned on 4" of ideal! Today Toyota claims I actually donot understand how to generate a typical change and they are not likely to change it again. I think about this break of agreement! Think about my guarantee? This clutch was weaker compared to 1st! It burned up after 1 make an effort to rise an incline. Vehicle is ranked at towing 3600 pounds! Toyota should've been tugging DOWNHILL! DON'T PURCHASE A 4X4 TOYOTA TACOMA - they do not pull off-road!
