I have been a loyal Toyota customer for years. At 60,000 miles, my clutch slipped and I had to have it replaced. This was about three years ago. Too soon and too few miles for a clutch to go. Just found out 30,000 miles later, I have to have the clutch replaced AGAIN. A clutch does NOT go twice in under 100,000 miles. I have driven stick-shifts all my life and have never had a problem.

I spoke with the service manager who said it would cost me $1600 to replace (cost $1100 in November - talk about "inflation"), he refused to do any work on the car such as investigating the problem, even though over the phone the mechanic said to bring it in and they would look into the problem at no charge. They did not stand by their word, they refused to see if it was a mechanical and/or a faulty part, but wanted me to pay thousands more for their shoddy work.

I recommend that no one buy a car - new or used - from Koons Tysons Toyota.
