My F250 Diesel is blowing out raw diesel. The code says problem is throttle plate (part of the fuel system) so I took it to Ford for service. I called Alpha since my warranty includes "fuel" that I interpret to mean those parts, system, and components necessary for the proper functioning of the fuel system. Well, since my mechanic that called in the claim called the part by name "throttle plate" and not what it does "fuel pressure regulator" the claim was denied. The words "throttle plate" was not on the adjustors screen so "Denied". So I called Alpha. The lady said that if the part is not specifically stated then they can deny the claim. I told her no part is specifically mentioned they are all generally identified so that any appurtenant part is not covered thereby eliminating pretty much everything... in my opinion, and apparently in the opinion of many, many others... Alpha Warranty is a scam. I understand they are already being sued and if I can I will be jumping right in on that class action or alternatively start my own suit. Its in the language people, they can wiggle their way out of any claim.
