I purchased a used 2004 Toyota Tacoma on 4/16 from Servco Used Auto when the dealership was on Lagoon Drive and Nimitz Highway. I was told by Ronald Doo, Ronald Asato, and Bob Chu that if I purchased an extended warranty and it went unused after the contract date that I would recieve a full refund of premiums, which is $1890.05 for a 3 year / 36K mile warranty. I contacted Servco on 4/11 to find out what the procedures are for a refund and was told on 4/12 by Sharon Miyake that it was not qualified for a refund.
She then directed me to contact Bob Chu who notified me that I had to purchase a 4 year/48K mile warranty in order to qualify. He then tells me that it was in my contract. After looking through all the paperwork that was given to me by the dealership there is no such paperwork. The only paperwork given to me about the warranty was the warranty registration and a warranty pamphlet, no contract. The dealership misled me into buying a product, by which they had no intention of refunding my money.
