Ripoff of unused premium

I purchased a new vehicle in november at which time i purchased an extended contract $1322.00. I have recently sold that vehicle which was still covered under the ford mfg warranty. I have contacted the dealership to refund the full amount of the extended warranty, since it has never went into effect. They are trying to give me half of what i paid for the policy. I have read their agreement and no where in the contract does it state that it will be prorated.

Who can i contact or where can i go to get my full refund?

Any help you can provide would be helpful.
