I actually did receive a clear title from them over a year ago when I paid off my car, but now I find that they never cleared the lien in the national databases. Creditors think I'm lying on applications when I say my car has a clear title and my insurance company has delayed payment for $6100 damages from recent storms until CPS has fixed their error.
I've made multiple calls to the only number published to contact them to be transferred to multiple departments where no one can seem to locate the account. I even had one "customer service" rep tell me that if it the account was closed, there was nothing more I needed from them. When I asked for a supervisor, he informed me that '"a crappy attitude gets crappy service" and then hung up!
