Einstein Transmission Repair, Transone, tranone, nationwide transmission, transciti transmission scam larry duncan stay away

Well i'll make this short and precise but helpfull the danger or warning signs are larry duncan, transmissionshopbiz, parts deposit, anything that seems outta place or unusal about the repair. This guy has been scamming people along time in Denton and DFW the shop names change almost every year.

I had found this shop's website through google and saw a transmission rebuild price of either $597 or "worst case sceniro" $1597. I called them and talked to a guy named "Joe" he said they had free diagnostic and towing it sounded great and he said after inspecting it he could then give me a firm price. I was told it needed a level 2 rebuild and it was $1597 so I approved the job and I get a call a few days later saying I need to do a part deposit at a bank of america and now my $1597 transmission job went to $3298 due to "non-rebuildable parts" and the reason for the deposit is that they arent stuck with extra parts if i take it somewhere else and its normal routine to begin work.

I made the deposit feeling uneasy about the way this repair is being done I called them afterwards and asked why the dramtic price increase and got a BS story. I work on cars but dont do transmissions and when they didnt call me to say hey instead of $1597 its going to be more money because... What do you want to do. I didnt get asked anything they just did it thier way so I told Joe what parts were that damaged and it almost all the major common transm, isssion parts and on thier parts list i saw parts were duplicated like the Torque Converter is on there two times plus they dont show or keep any of the "so called damaged parts" which is very strange and the work took longer than they said and i got a run around story when i picked it up about thier pc systems are down and they couldnt print me a recepit so they wrote on a damn post-it the amount paid and said when i come back for the 7-day inspection they will print out what i needed.

Well i get my car and the wheel bearings and drive axles are broke and i had to repair that and i start inspecting my car and notice get this parts used had patent pending on them and my "rebuilt" trans was spray painted silver thatb when you rub your hand across it peels off they did it to hide serial #'s that were changed or removed and i already had a leak from the trans and alot of things were altered on my car that has nothing to do with the transmission weird things like readjusting my shocks hoses not put back on and what im guessing is whatever extra car parts for the make and car model that is yours they swap out parts and get money out of it somehow and they damaged my rims it looks like my car had been dropped hard and they lost my splash guard underneath the car and they said it didnt have one on it and to top it off after a week the trans is acting up again. They will deny that they were responsible for the damge done to other parts on my car and when i say since its still acting up and leaking that the warranty will cover any costs that they arent going to mess it up worse heck i dont think they know what they are doing as far as repair and that they send it to a nearby shop to actually have all the work done or most of it at least.

By now im pissed and i know if i go back up there its not going to be pretty and i'll lose my cool and thats what they want so you look like the bad guy going up there "looking for trouble" if you knock the guy out. I mean $4,000 is alot of money and then the trans is still messing up that'll make most people snap. So now i am going to have another shop inspect the work they did so that i have it in writing and file a lawsuit and anyone knowing the correct steps to take action against the company please post it and hopefully the shop and owner will be shut down.
