I had insurance with Progressive Insurance for only a few months and they raised my rate so I decided to go with another insurance company. I had my insurance payments come directly out of my checking account. They kept sending me payment statements even though I had told them I was cancelling my insurance with them. I then received a statement stating that they had not gotten the December paying because of some kind of an issue they had. It took a long time for them to let me know this. Then I had to check my bank statement to see if the money had been taken out. I didn't see it so I said I would have to send money in two payments a couple of weeks apart. I had already sent one payment when I received a credit collection notice on their behalf. If this is the way this company does business then I suggest everyone find a differnt insurance company to go with. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
