This is my first year w / Progressive. They were saying how they can lower my insurance rate by 20% and how they have better customer service. So I switched from Commerce (who had really bad customer service).
Yes, the first 4 months I did have lower insurance rate, but after that, they INCREASE my rate by 35%! I called them for an explanation and they said it's just company policy. They said I do have a perfect record but for various reason (that they cannot tell me) my rate are higher then most people.
I thought about changing to Geico... But after reading their usacomplaints.com, looks like ALL auto insurance company are like this. They just find ways to suck you into their lies then find ways to dry up your wallet.
