I wouldn't recommend doing business with HERTZ. My dealing with JEREMY and MONICA was mishandled into a we're NOT YOU ARE waste of time lies. Someone should put the jerks I dealt with in their place. I would look around and do business with someone that treats you like a human being. I was stunned at the rudeness, zero respect and nastiness towards me as I reported a hit and run with a car renter. I was very lucky that my car didn't receive preliminary dings etc... But I'm not an expert. After dealing with HERTZ intimidation tactics, I wanted to give up and repair the dings etc... By myself if needed. The damages were hard to see but HERTZ intimidated me into believing the accident never HAPPENED. Someone called JEREMY (RUDE) called me from some claim center, showing zero concern but lying to me that the ODOMETER doesn't show the car was at that location of the accident The response from HERTZ started out oppositional and became worse. I will show more BULLYING examples in the following.
Someone hit my car around the corner from me. As I stopped, the driver didn't stop. The driver made me run out of my car and frantically write down the license plate. Luckily, the other driver did stop for a moment at the subsequent stop sign, thus I wrote the license plate number. The driver showed zero concern for me. A police ran the number plates. I reported the incident to two HERTZ numbers, corporate and roadside assistance. Both females at the numbers had very bad phone manners and made me answer too many personal questions. I was refused a definitive contact name of the driver to simply submit my claim to and avoid the HERTZ bullying tactics. Some horrible sounding person calling her name MONICA called me out of the blue as I was at lunch at few days later... It starts to become very nasty as following...
MONICA had a very heavy sounding masculine voice... I wouldn't have realized it was a she unless she told me her name. MONICA hollered "SHE DENIES IT." IT seemed everything I said, MONICA was oppositional to talking back, and asking too many questions. THIS MONICA had very bad disrespectful phone manners. MONICA kept talking back to me and harassing to send me some form letter as if I KNEW WHAT THE HECK SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT. I received zero concern for me during this nasty phone call. MONICA didn't say where she was from etc... I discovered the call was from TEXAS with my caller id. An unprofessional example of someone I couldn't deal with.
A few days later... I got a message from some claim center crazy named JEREMY at a secret number. When I called back, JEREMY seemed reluctant to talk as if I WAS ABOUT TO BE INSULTED. I requested to simply be called back in a couple days when I have more time... JEREMY never called back. When I called instead, JEREMY answered. JEREMY started out oppositional as to the reason for never calling me back. The bad manners became worse. During the phonecall, JEREMY repeated my words back, told me reasons the car accident didn't happen and asked too many questions. I told this jerk, I will send my estimate as JEREMY finally requested at the end of the phonecall.
It was a waste of time calling HERTZ. I resented the mistreatment I received. AS long as it wasn't me hitting their car, I was ignored. HERTZ does this intimidation to everyone. HERTZ are experts. I never heard from this JEREMY Jerk. I called the number a few months later to reaffirm someone so rude like that was working in this department any longer. TO my dissppontment, JEREMY answered. I requested his e mail. I had forgotten it. JEREMY was worse than before. I was so initimidated to request JEREMY to repeat his e mail to write it down... JEREMY said his e mail in a terrible way. JEREMY showed zero respect in that I was writng it down.
I e mailed JEREMY to simply express my anger concerning my car. JEREMY responded to my e mail with a "DENIAL" and zero explanation offered. JEREMY further accused me of threatening and insulting. Those have nothing to do with the claim and my impression of JEREMY was of threats and insults. JEREMY never answer my e mails again. IT seemed an example of the rudeness behind this jerk named, JEREMY.
