We were the ebay high bidder on a " 2004 vintage outlaw 48 ft enclosed trailer (exact listing description). Sent a $1000 cashiers check as a deposit. 7 days later, we drove over 240 miles to pick up the trailer with the remaining certified funds. Upon arrival, the trailer seemed a lot smaller than others we had looked at in person. The owner of texas auto corral, john cope said he was pretty sure it was a 48 ft trailer.inside the trailer we found ownership documents that listed more information, so we called the manufacturer and provided them the trailer model info. It was confirmed to be a "44 ft " trailer. John cope offered no apologies, no explanations, etc. When i asked for our deposit back, he said he was coming up to our city that next day to an auction and would bring us our deposit since he had already deposited our check. Without any other options, we agreed.
3 days went by and he wouldn't respond to any of our calls.
