Fox Hill Towing towed my 1997 Mercedes to their body shop and reportedly sold it within 28 days. I was in contact with the body shop on several occasion regarding the repair status of my car within this period. However, I was not contacted at home or on my job letting me know that my car was ready. Therefore, the shop owner claimed I abandon the car.
One of the shop's worker contacted me last week to let me know that the shop owner hid my car in back of their building for several months and only pretended to sell it. However, they are currently trying to sell my car for $18,000 - $20,000. He also informed me that the shop runs this same scam on approx. 70% of their customers, and he wants to see the owner caught. This person is willing to talk without exposing his identity. I immediately went to the shop last week and was able to take pictures of the car, license plate and vin numter prior to the owner arriving. Please help me expose this scam.
