DARCARS Lincoln Mercury (Mr. Nadir-Mngr & Avis - New Sales Person) Mr. Nadir ignored my Wife I refused to provide his business card and her did not honor the promotional letter we received from DARCARS Hq

My Wife, Brenda Talley, received a letter from DARCARs which stated in the 2nd paragraph "On Friday. June 25, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, DARCARS Lincoln Mercury is rewarding its loyal previous customers with the Employee For-A-Day Savings Event. As an invented guest, you will receive Full Employee Discounts on any new or peviously owned vehicle, just as if you worked here! This offer is good for one day only."

The leter also stated that the price would be substantially lower than the retail selling price; and Bank representatives would be on hand. One extremely important statement contained in the letter was that appraisers "were willing to pay off your vehicle regardless of payoff"

When my Wife and I walked in the door, we met a brand new female salesperson named Avis, just fresh out of training. She was new and treated us with utmost courtesy. We informed her about the letter, and she immediately started showing us vehicles on the lot. My Wife picked out one, and the three of us went back inside to work out a deal. Since this was her first day, she wanted to invite her manager, Mr. Nadir, to meet us and discuss a deal. He never came in, just kept sender her back in asking questions or giving incomplete answers. Finally, I gave Avis information to check the payoff for the vehicle my Wife and I were going to trade in, a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero SUV.

Mr. Nadir, still ignoring my Wife and I, sent Avis to tell us that they could do nothing for us because the payoff for the Montero was too high. And that the promotion was for customers who did not have a large payoff amount on their trade in vehicle. I gave Avis the letter (which stated the trade vehicle payoff would be paid regardless of the amount owed) to give to Mr. Nadir. He refused to even discuss the contents of the letter. Even though this was Avis' first sale, he never came in to talk to us at all. I asked Avis to get his business card for me, but Mr. Nadir refused to provide it. They wanted to keep the letter that my Wife received, but I refused to leave it. So, Avis made a copy.

I believe that DARCARS Lincoln Mercury should honor the letter they sent to my Wife, and that Mr. Nadir should be repremanded for his treatment of customers. We want to work out a deal for the vehicle that my Wife selected and we want our trad in paid off.

In 1995, my Wife and I bought a Van from this dealorship. We still have it; its still in great shape; and is one of the best vehicle we ever owned.
