Fraudulent Work, ripoff, Scam at its best

I left my car with Pepboy's on June 22nd in the early morning to be checked for a really stronge gas odor coming from the car when I am driving it. I was later told that it was my fuel injector and would have to be replaced. Well that made sense so I authorized the repair.

That's where everything started going wrong. I called back multiple times to be told that they kept getting the wrong part for my car, but would have my car fixed for me soon. That should have been the first clue for me. I called them around 4:30pm to find out they would have to keep the car so they can fix it in the morning. O.K. What else could I do I need my car?

The next morning (June 23rd) I called them around 10:30 am, still the car was not fixed. Someone declined the work to be done they say. But they couldn't tell me who. I called back around 5: pm Still nothing was done. I demand to speak to a mgr and I still get the run around. Now they need to keep the car again so they could fix it in the morning.

Well this went on until June 24th. Finally I call in and they tell me it's good to go. So I get my car and drive away. 30 min later My car is back firing and stalling. I call them and let them know I'm on my way back. I speak to Mgr Milton who test drove the car with me in it. I didn't have to say a word.By that time the car was Shaking so bad and stalling so bad he drove one block and turned right back around to his shop. Now they would inspect it and correct the problem IN THE MORNING.

Now its June 25th. Throughout the entire day I was told something or another why it wasn't done. They took it apart and found no problem with the fuel injector or the installation. But they would perform a diagnosis to find the problem. Finaly around 5:30 pm I'm told its ready by Rene. When I asked him what was the problem he said it was the transmission that had to be adjusted. Needless to say it didn't add up. So I go to pick up my car.

I was told in person by Rene about the transmission problem and I could talk to the Master Mechanic T-jon if I wish. So I Did. He also said the same thing and that he test drove the car and it is fine now. During the conversation with them My girl friend started the car so we could leave and she tells us the car is still not fixed. So I walked with the mechanic and rene to my car. She was right it was still shaking and stalling. This after they took it apart and ran a diagnosis and test drove it. Now the Master mechanic claims that the fuel injector was not working at all. Yes the same one they just installed inspected, took apart and test drove.

Now they want to charge me $90.00 for the diognosis they claim they performed. Now the scam is really obvious and clear. Even to the store Mgr Miguel who got the entire story from me after I lost it with the supposed Master Mechanic and his side kick Rene. Now they want to keep the car to be fixed the next day June 26th IN THE MORNING.

Let's see what goes wrong this time or will I find out that my engine block is cracked or maybe it will be my starter, carburetor, drive shaft or just low air pressure in the left rear tire causing the car to stall.

Fraudulent Work, ripoff, Scam at its best. I think this title will fit this story don't you.
