After the X filed bankruptcy Ford Motor Credit shut me out. They would not tell me anything even three months after the bankruptcy was discharged. I could not get a statement or anything but they did send a letter addressed to my X which did not have my name on it. I was the primary on the loan agreement but was told that it didn't matter. Well they sent my X the letter which I never got but did get a copy of it four months later from my attorney at the hearing. When I called Ford they REFUSED to even discuss this matter with me and instead they repossessed my truck. I tryed on several ocassions to contact them but was told that "Travis" would return my call within 24 to 48 hours. I never heard from him and by the time I did get in touch with someone at Ford, well he was just RUDE and very ill-mannared. He's words were. "We got the truck back and that is all we wanted!" I did not file bankruptcy and was trying to make all the payments on time but when they refuse to help you by telling you what is due and what is not then that is a RIP-OFF. They are a lousy company to deal with and I will never buy a thing through them again. Ford makes a good automobile but I would rather buy a piece of junk then deal with Ford Motor Credit.
