I recently bought a 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid from Joe Myers on 3/1. The agreed upon priced based on company's x-plan pricing would be 31,752. They agreed to this and I signed paperwork for the pricing as the dealership gets a kick back from Ford for selling cars to corporate customers.
They agreed to pay $17,500 for pay on my vehicle. All is this great and then the rip off: The finance manager changed the pricing on the contract to 34,655 and it was late in the evening. I didn't notice the price change and because it was late he said sign and we would go over the next. (Whitney Babineaux). He showed me the interest rate and I added some extras which was fine with.
Having bought Fords on credit since 1975, and having been a steady customer over the years, I signed without really scrutinizing the contract, so I didn't notice the change in pricing. The next day when I picked up all for forms were in a sealed envelope and off I went. I have never had anything like this happen to me from a Ford dealership and never expected to be duped like this. Price switching from $31,752 to $34,655 and on top of it the dealership gets the kick back from Ford for selling the car at X-plan corporate pricing!
Do not ever go to Joe Myers Ford, they are swindlers!
