I am a first time car buyer. I worked with the internet sales guy at Niello Volkswagen to get the deal I wanted, so I wouldnt have to wait all day at the dealership.
Came into the dealership, was there for 3 hours despite the fact that it was a "done" deal. Didnt get to test drive the car because the service crew was taking too long.
Car to be delivered to house. Supposed to arrive at 3:30pm, didnt arrive until 7:30pm. Sales guy kept saying he would be there in a minute, never showed up. Finally arrived at 7:30 saying he forgot something and had to go back to the dealership.
Promised a certain price per month with zero down. Contract came back to be signed stating $1500 down. Finance guy promised we WOULD'NT have to pay the $1500.
3 weeks later, recieve a call stating we owe Niello $1500. Refuse to budge. We tell them we are going to take the car back. They immediately jump down to $500.
We now have to pay $500 even though promised zero down. Niello claims they are taking a huge loss on the car already despite the fact we know better.
I am a first time car buyer, and I refuse to ever do business with any of the Niello car companies ever again. I am going to make sure everyone I know knows what a rip off deal this was and to not use them. They have lost my business for life over a petty $500.
