Horrible mechanics, severely damaged my car and harassed me over the phone. I brought my car, 1997 Mercedes C230 which needed to get instrument cluster fixed. It took them more than a month to get it "fixed" My husband and I came to the shop few times and always it "was not ready, come back next week" I finally picked up the car and I saw my plastic dash board severely scratched, literally vandalized, as they tried to take out the cluster I guess with screwdriver or something like it. I pointed it to Sami and he said that he does not know what happened. Usually Sami spoke with his mechanics about my car in foreign language in front of me (I think Arabic) so I cannot understand that they are talking about. I went to other repair shops and asked for a written estimate for the damaged dash board. They gave me estimation of more than $2000.00!!! Official Mercedes Service center gave me $3,285.00 estimate for this damage! I came to the shop and politely tried to resolve this issues with Sami, one of mechanics. He refused to cooperate and even didn't apologize for the damages. I sent them a letter to request a written itemization of the charges and assistance with repair of damages they did to my car. They called me 3 times on the phone with harassing voice mails and threats, Sami and Mr. Budakh, the president. They told that I damaged the dash board myself before I brought my car to the shop and they will charge me for "free parking" while I was not able to pick up my car due to delays with repair. They said that "it would not be easy for me to deal with them" if I decide to proceed with charges. Plus he said that they should charge me $925 for an "outside consultation" on damages while they charged ONLY $125.00! I asked to give me a written detailed description of repairs made and they refused it
