In 2010 I purchased a 2007 Cardinal fifth wheel trailer from Camping World. I found out when trying to purchase insurance for the trailer that it was actually a 2006 model as shown on the title.
I have paper work ("Purchase Agreement" and "Retail Installment Contract and security Agreement") that show this trailer as being a 2007 model. I did not receive a copy of the title from the credit union until I paid the trailer off. At that time my insurance agent pointed out to me that it is actually a 2006 model.
Also, I had a tire blow out and another with bubbles on the sidewalls before I had pulled the trailer over 150 miles. After inspection (I have photos) I discovered that the manufacture dates of the tires was older than the RV itself. All of this was discovered by me after the dealership prep and inspection.
Another issue with Camping World is that I purchased a "Presidents Club" membership when I purchased the trailer. When the memebership was near expiration, I received numerous letters and final notices to purchase the membership. I did send in a check on 8/23 and have never received my new membership card and when making a purchrease recently was told my membership had expired.
My main concern is the being sold an older trailer than I was promised and the dangerously poor inspections that this Camping World performed on this trailer.
