On November 11 I took my truck to Jiffy Lube in Fallon Nevada for an oil change and service. This was completed.
On March 15 I was checking over the fluid levels and noticed that the transmission fill plug was rounded out. The plug had been all-right prior to the November 11th visit to Jiffy Lube.
I contacted Jiffy Lube in Fallon and the Manager said there was nothing they would do since the 3000 mile warranty was out of date.
I then took the truck to a local mechanic to have the plug removed and replaced. They told me the plug was in so tight they had to drill it out. This cost me out of pocket $71.24 due to Jiffy Lube's incompetence.
I called the Jiffy Lube Corporate offices and spoke to Fred, who took the report and said that someone would contact me within 72 hours. No one ever contacted me from Jiffy Lube corporate.
I then contacted the local BBB and they told me that Jiffy Lube submits to binding arbitration and I submitted a complaint. The BBB phoned me on April 7, to say that a regional representative of Jiffy Lube, Mr. Cruz Martinez would contact me within 36 hours. Mr. Martinez failed to contact me. AS of this date I have heard nothing from JIffy Lube or the local BBB.
All I want is Jiffy Lube to compensate for the damage the did to my vehicle and they have refused to respond.
