On March 11, I Paid William's Transmission and Automotive $1,200.00 to fix my truck. There was a problem with the way the Transmission shifted and I had oil coming from the back of the engine.
According to William at William's Transmission and Automotive they tested and gave an estimate, removed and overhauled trans. Replaced Necessary Parts, Flushed Cooler, Test Drove and gave me a 24 Month, 24,000 Mile Warranty. Approx. 6 weeks, and 900 miles later I had to have the truck towed back from Mississippi as I was on my way home from my job for a week off.
I had previously spoke to William's Transmission and Automotive during the first week of April, to report to them that the speed odometer had stoped working and that my truck was not shifting properly, on My way to work. As I work off-shore and am going to be gone for 4-to-6 weeks at a time, I was informed during the conversation that all I had to do was bring the truck back in and they would fix the problems.
Well as I said I had to have the truck Towed at my expense from Mississippi to Florida, back to William's Transmission and Automotive. This was on April 26. The following day I had other business I had pending, the next day when I went to see about my truck William told me that he was not going to fix my truck because the DRIVE_SHAFT tore the Trans up! So I had a Friend of mine pull the truck over to my Dad's home.
I don't know what I am going to do at this point but I know I risk my life Dailey to make the money that I paid to them and I think that if there was something wrong with the Drive-Shaft that William's Transmission and Automotive should have found this during the TWO_ (2) Test Drives that they took. Now I am having to take a Bus Back and Forth to work as I have 2 small Children to take care of and no money or choice other than to go back to work Is ther Help or am I just out $1,200.00 Plus other expenses???
