Sold Me A Lemon, Dishonest, untruthful, con

I needed a car quickly because my finals were coming up so I went to a little car lot right down the street to get a cheap car. I figured since the owner not only sold cars, but had his own repair shop that I would get a decent car.

I took the car for a quick test drive it seemed fine and I asked him a few questions about the quality of the car. He stated it was a good car and he put alot of work into it. I asked him if he thought it would last me at least a year. He said without a doubt you should be driving it for awhile.

Well I traded in a 95 chevy lumina that didn't run and a 90 chevy truck that did run, but I didn't drive because it was too big of a truck and paid $600.

Well about five months later the transmission was slipping so I parked the car for a few weeks until I could get it in the shop. When I moved the car it had leaked transmission fluid and I took the car to the shop and had the transmission lines replaced thinking that would solve the problems.

No the car just kept getting worse and I took it to another repair shop that gave me a whole list of problems with this car from minor to major-and the owner of G & R said he put alot of work into the car. The car shop said they won't recommend starting work until it goes to the trans. Shop.

I took the car back to G & R Automotive because I had only had the car around 10 months for it to have all these problems. I left the car with him and he took it to the transmission guy he goes to. He and his transmission guy said the trans was fine the problem was in the wiring.

G & R fixed the wiring problem, but he had my car for about two weeks and claimed that he put days and days of work into the car yet I have to pass his shop everyday to go anywhere I want to go and my car sat in the same spot, parked the same way for the whole two weeks. The only time I seen it moved was the day I called him and checked on the progress of my car and he told me I could pick it up at the end of the day. That day was the only day I seen it move from the spot it was in.

I picked up my car, paid $175 for the repairs and he told me that the car should shift alot better. I was almost home and it started slipping again. Frustrated I called a transmission specialist that told me he would look at it and wouldn't charge me.

The transmission specialist that looked at my car said that it had so many things wrong, that it would take over $3000 to fix it and it wasn't worth it. Now I know his transmission guy told him the same thing, but he did't tell me he just fixed the wiring and charged me and knew that car wasn't going to last.
