I parked in an empty lot belonging to Go Green Wheels, a scooter sales business on South Broadway... At 11:30 at night. While they do have signs posted, logically it seems silly that there would be towing that late... Especially after the business is closed. I came out of the local business at 2:15 AM to find my vehicle gone. Serves me right... However, isn't it required that the property's/lot's owner be present when the tow truck is hooking up to a vehicle? I have to get a ride to 4300 Elati and pay $275 in cash to get my vehicle back. The receipt lists a "Lisa" and a call time of 1:55 AM... I seriously doubt the owner of Go Green Wheels was up at that time, just to have a vehicle towed.
Is there any recourse to this parasitic behavior?
