My car was towed in because it would not start, 10 mins. Later they informed me it was the starter, DUH. (hopefully this was obvious for a mechanic at a shop). I get this overpriced repair estimate, tell them I cant pay that, find reputatable service shop 3 blocks away that estimated the job at half the price. When I told them that, they said I had a check-out charge of $42.00.
The car was only in the stall for MAYBE 10 mins. The counter guy, RANDI was completely obnoxious and condescending as I was explaining the other shop was charging half the price and questioning the high cost. He had no professional manner about him what-so-ever and is suprising that any company who depends on consumers would allow him any interaction with the customers.
