At about 40,000 miles, my father's toyota matrix began shaking and shimmying right because it hit 50 to 60-mph. He took it directly into toyota, however they told him he needed new tires. My father bought new tires at another area, however the problem endured. Since i have was laid off at that time and that i didn't have $2,500.00 to get a restored indication, i went off and lived with the shaking and shimmying. Later this year, we received a recognition letter for exactly the same ecm that i'd already installed. I got the car in, and toyota has "ripped my string" since! They will not reimburse me for that ecm alternative, plus they haven't done anything to resolve the shaking and also the shimmying.
I've owned five toyota vehicles previously seven years, but following this very bad encounter, next time that i trade-in some of my vehicles, i'll not proceed the route of toyota, and neither will any of my household members!
