Ripoff, breech of contract, failed to pay on covered items

While on vacation my car door locks stopped working trapping me in the vehicle several times. I followed all instructions required by the warranty and brought my car to a BMW dealer in Minneapolis. The dealership diagnosed my problem and told the First Extended Service Corp that the vehicle needed 2 new lock actuators. These were covered by the warranty contract.

It took First Extended Service Corp. Several weeks to send someone out to inspect the car. When an adjustor finally came he denied the claim. When I called First Extended to contest the denial the manager hung up on me. The supervisor at First Extended also hung up on the service writer from BMW. It seems to be their M.O. It is almost impossible to get through to a real person at First Extended.

Crevier BMW in Santa Ana, CA sold me the warranty and would not stand behind it. Because the service was denied the rental car which should have been covered was also denied.

My vehicle was out of service for 6 weeks. I ended up paying for the repair myself. The BMW dealership paid for the rental car.

First Extended Service Corp. Failed to honor its contract with me. They should be avoided.
