I purchase a Gran Am 96 from JD on 9-23-03 on 9-24-03. I took it back because the engine light came on the night before on the way home and it was shaking like crazy. The service dept. Took it back, brought it right back out to me and said it was fix.
Well after going through this back and forth till December I went in and requested to see the management of Byrider, no one could help me the car had already been in for service a total at this point of over 8 time. They never one time fix what I was being the car in for they continue to put fuel injector cleaner in the car, when they had knowing knowledge that the fuel injection system was damage at the time of purchase.
I have ask them since day one of purchase for a car fax they will not give it to me. The car still till today the engine light is on and they continue to tell me to drop it off they will fix. Well I'm tired so I filed a complaint with Attorney General and spoke with a attorney whom inform me that at the time of closing on the car deal while they record you signing your life away to there fauld. You also sign a abritration agreement in which you can NOT sue them.
This is bogus because they know they are taking advantage of people. So I have a 1996 Grand Am with a payoff of 8,200.00 and vehical true value is 1,200.00. Now who going to payoff this car not even the full coverage insurance will pay this off if in a car accident. So instead of them advertising to help people they are hurting a lot of people.
I think that no one should buy a car from JD Byrider if you knew what was best you would shop someplace else and fast. They are not in it to help. Not only that I lost my job, they were rude, refuse to hear me out. I got another job in 1 week in which my pay period were changed; they continue to bother me monthly because now I only get paid on 15th and 31th if my payment is due on the 13 which is a friday and I get paid the 15 monday you best believe they are calling my whole referral list and telling them my business asking people to make the payment for me.
I think this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. If you knew what was best just stay away from them. I believe all the person that have put complaints on them. My attorney even said it himself that it's really bad in the State of Ohio. Even though all the complaint against them are not doing anything about them ripping off consumer.
