Car Credit America - Greenwich Finance - JD ByRider Ripoff Deceptive Conniving Vultures Exploitative Manipulative Callous Inhuman Calculating Charlatans Frauds Con Artists

I bought a car from Car Credit America (Waukegan) in 2004. My credit was not good so I didn't have many options and that put me in the perfect position for the to be taken advantage of by them. If I could go back, I would ride the bus or even roller skates rather than give them one penny of my money ro 1 minute of my time. But, of course, you can't go back, so here's hoping to inform the next poor sucker before they get to them. Their vehicles are way overpriced, the staff and management are conniving and relentless and the service department manager is a real jerk. I was not told that I would still be paying all of the interest even if I paid the car off early until I inquired last year on how much my payoff would be. My payment receipts still show part of my payment going to interest and only one total due which does not decrease by the full payment amount. My interest rate is through the roof, now after paying for the car for almost 2 of 3 years I am still unable to trade it in because of the huge amount of negative equity still remaining.in the beginning I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (nothing came of that) and I also filed a complaint with the Attorney General and was told there was nothing they could do at the time. Also their finance department is deceptive and and ignorant in their rude behavior; I was given 2 different payoff amounts by 2 different people within a 10 minute time span just earlier this month when I was trying to trade the vehicle in. So I've been stuck for 2 years now, kicking myself everyday for being taken advantage of by these people. And that is exactly what they do, they take advantage of the people who are in the worst position to be taken advantage of and who don't have the resources to deal with them effectively. I would like nothing more than to see them out of business. And I would like to be involved in any proceedings against them. I don't understand how companies like this are allowed to operate the way they do.
