Ripoff Sold Wrong Tires, 8 times to re-balance correctly, Tires discontinued without informing, Gashed front tire on last visit to re-balance

I purchased 4 new tires for a E-150 Ford Econoline Van. I was removing the passenger tires that were sold to me on the vehicle, which infact never should have been on the van to begin with.

Tires were installed. I have been back 8 times, to have balanced. They could not get them bablanced properly. Everytime, I was given a different reason why the tires were bouncing and shaking the vehicle. All of which were checked out, and were untrue.

Example: 1.) Rims bent. They just were trying to see me new rims. 2.) Ball Bearing bad. Ball Bearings would have nothing to do with the tires, and the bad ride they were causing.

Originally, when I purchased the tires, I asked for a 6 ply tire. Unknowly, they installed 4 -All Terain Tires, which are not the correct tires to be put on a large Van.
As I said, I return 8 times to have them re-balanced. On the 7th time, the manager re-place one tire and expressed to me that the tire had tread separation.
Each time that I returned to the store for rebalancing, I expressed to them, that there was something 'wrong' with these tires! Why else would the re-place only one tire? What would make them think that the other 3, will not have the same problem?

If one tire is bad, more than likely all the tires are bad. The tires were discontinued, as I found out later. Why were they dicontinued? I also, was not informed, that they were selling me 'Discontinued' tires. On the 8th time, returning for rebalancing, the tires were all rotated and re-balanced.

When I returned to my vehicle to drive home, I found a large 3 inch long, 1/8th inch gash in my front tire... Which WAS NOT there, when I brought the Van in for Re-Re-Re-Re-Re-Re-Re-Balancing.

They say that they are on exchanging the tire, that the damage is "Superficial". I was shocked to here this. And, told them that it was not like that when I got there, and the damage was done at their shop. They refuse to do anything about it, and claim that the damage, will not cause any harm, and was superficial. The Gash, is a 1/8 inch gash in the side wall of the tire going vertically, not Horizonally, which may seem as if it were done while the vehicle was rolling. This damage was done at their shop. And I cannot prove whether it was done intentinally, or, whether it was an accident on the Vehicle Lift.

But, the fact remains, that they say they hold no responsibility for the tire. And, I should drive the tire as is, and the fact that none of the tires are balanced properly for the eighth time. There is SOMETHING wrong with these tires, and this is bad business not to follw through, and make good on the sale.
I have contact Legal Aid in this case.

Basically, I feel I have given them plenty of chances to make good on the sale. This does not even counter in the fact, that it takes a full day and a day off from work, to keep bringing this vehicle into their shop. I drive with loads of merchandise, and cannot afford the worry of having an accident due to bad tires, or the damage that their company did to the one tire.

I have expressed to Legal Aid, that enough is enough. They (CV Specialists) will not answer my calls now, and I do not think this is fair.

Now I want a 100% refund; no pro-rate, or measuring for wear (Wear is more than actual mileage, due to tire never being balanced properly). Unfortunately, it is going to take another week to a week and a half, to even get the case going. Which, I have to work, which means driving 100 to 600 miles a week.

CV Specialists, is practicing unfair business relations, and is selling potentially hazardous tires. These tires, as I can find out, have not been re-called, but were discountiued for either 2 reasons. 1.) being a bad tire 2). Recycling to a different make of tire. I personally think that they know more than they are letting on.

The tires are: Radial AT KTS (made by General) LT2 35/70 Anyone knowing about this in more detail may e-mail me. I do not feel safe driving with the tires on my vehicle.
