My friend had been looking for parts for his 1994 Porsche. A co-worker had come across Deutschepartsusa.com and on January 23, ordered a porsche tie rod kit on behalf of him. When the order arrived, he received an automatic set, but needed manual set.
My friend and his co-worker emailed the company to request to return these parts and have a manual kit sent instead. My friend was under the impression that his co-worker was returning the wrong set, so on 3/22 I ordered the manual set for him.
On 3/29, I emailed the Deutschepartsusa.com regarding both orders. Unfortunately, the co-worker had not returned the original kit and on the second shipment, a tie rod was missing.
I sent an email requesting to return the automatic set and to inform them of the missing part. I received authorization to return the automatic kit and the other tie rod would be shipped ASAP.
We received the missing part in a timely fashion, but unfortunately, these did not fit either, although according the descriptions, year of car, etc, it should have.
I had NO trouble getting authorization to return the parts again. On May 2, the manual parts were returned. I have been emailing ever since trying to get credit on BOTH returns.
So far, I have sent 15 emails concerning this problem. I have received 2 responses. First asking if I had a tracking number, which I gave them and second, they would have the warehouse conduct an investigation on my returns.
I have had no luck reaching them by phone. I have $247.48 after shipping charges due back to me. They were really good at allowing me to return the parts, but NOW I can't get my money back!!!
