Chrysler Financial is impossible to deal with! We had half of a payment about 45 days late and the next payment around 23 days late. I cleared up the 45 past due payment off via check by phone. Then about 2 hours later they repossessed our vehicle!
Naturally upset, we contacted Chrysler Financial and after 10 minutes of automated customer service menus we finally were in contact with the Roanoke, Texas office. We were informed that we would have to pay all past due plus the next payment (not due for another 7 days) and the towing and storage fees (about $350).
We were directed to their website page with a detailed list of documentation required including personal references, proof of income, and the insurance certificate which required us to triple our coverage! Neither of us nor the auto has ever been in an accident and our current insurance coverage with comprehensive was running over $1,200 a year.
