Again! Chrysler Financial left me stranded

On July, 28 Chrysler Financial had my vehicle repossessed. I have been a loyal customer to this company for more than twenty years. I am retired Chrysler Employee. I was 5 payments away from my lease maturity. I was not given an opportunity to finish my lease term.

On October 8 I leased a Chrysler 300 Limited for a 39 month term. On December 31 my younger brother suffered a stroke and heart attack. This event changed my life as well as his. I became his primary caregiver. I gave up my home and moved into a larger home with two other family members to help care for my brother. I was the only person there whom had dependable transpotation and an income.

On February 8 i also leased a 2008 Chrysler Sebring with my daughter as the co-signer. My intention was to use my employee discount to help her get this vehicle in her name. Chrysler Finincial would not approve her. She was a manager at Walgreen's. She had been working steady for more than 4 years at that time. We were pressed. Her car had broken down. On a couple of occassions her employees and customers were locked out of the store because she did not have reliable transportation to get there on time.

I needed her to be there to help with my brother as he needed 24 hour monitoring. Chrysler Financial approved a 36 month lease with her as the co-signer. Against my better judment I agreed to go with the deal as her being a co-signer instead of the principal on the 2008 sebring.

My monthly pension is $2167.00 My monthly lease paymeny on the Chrysler 300 was $561.99 My monthly insurance for the 300 was $359.00 The monthly lease payment for the 2008 sebring is $315.00 The monthly insurance payment was around $300.00.

Please Examine Chrysler Financial lending practices.

These vehicles were in my name making me contractually responsible for more than $1500.00 a month out of a $2167.00 a month pension. I know I was in over my head and this situation was a recipe for disaster. I truily felt as I watched the news of Chrysler having a rough time that our patronizing the company could help make a positive difference. It's ok if they need held. I had gone more than 2 years and was not late with a payment.

I was one payment and a $143.00 late fee down when my vehicle was repossessed. I promised to pay any past due and all current charges within 3 days before my vehicle was taken. My pleas were ignored. The 2008 sebring my daughter drives she was morally responsible for the payment. She was late 15 times past 30 days. I was late twice and they were paid the month my car was repossessed. There is a consistent patern with Chrysler Financial repossessing my vehicles after I invested thousands of dollars into these vehicles.

Please ask Chrysler Financial to explain how a $25,000.00 1995 Dodge Caravan That I purchased using a $3.000 trade in and a $3,000. Down payment plus an employee discount that shoulh have net this vehicle sale price near $17,500. End up costing more than $42,000. I was charged more than $600. A month for thie vehicle. I never rode in this vehicle. My ex-wife drove this car. It was repossessed and thousands of dollars was charged to me. I was already driving a 1994 LHS I had leased from Chrysler Financial. I was on permanent disiablity leave whne I was approved for this rediculious transaction. I lost this vehicle too.

Chrysler Financial Repossessed a 1989 new yorker from me. I was working with chrysler motors at that time. I was on payroll deduction for my loan payments and I had liability insurance to cover me if i became unable to work. They took this vehicle for 1 late payment even though i was coved for liability insurance. I had filed a claim but it must have been lost in the mail.

Everytime I deal with Chrysler I lose.

They leave me stranded and thousands of dollars in debt with them. They label me a deadbeat. I aws never 4 or five payments behind or 3.

Someone please take a very close look at this company. Their lending practices and collection procedures.
