The most illegitimate moving company I have seen. The most illegitimate company I have ever seen. Period. X-Press Van Lines quoted us $4,300 and before they were to deliver our goods they wanted us to pay a total of $11,300. They held our items "hostage" until they were paid.
When our items arrived, at least 30% of our belongings were damaged or broken. Our computer desk was broken apart. My steel tool box was dented to the point the steel drawers no longer open. Lamps were broken in the boxes that they charged us to pack.
Some items were either stolen or not delivered, either way the items are not here. The absolute, worst experience I've ever had business wise. I wish the government could somehow shut down these scammers. They will quote you one thing and act like everything is fine and then hold your items hostage until you pay in full "whatever amount" they say.
