Cottman Transmission on Chef Menteur in New Orleans East is horrible. The owner puts the wrong dates on receipts so when his shotty transmission work fails you are out of warranty. Its the perfect hustle. I started having problems long before the warranty ran out. When I returned the car he always said he checked it out and all was fine!!! Of course!!! He did not want to place himself in a position to refund my $2,522.00.
The corporate office of Cottman houses the most rude and offensive so called directors and customer service people you would ever want to speak with. The corporate office speaks to you like you are the liar and not the cottman person.

If they were the only transmission company on earth I would rather trash my car and buy a new one before going back to Cottman and being scammed!!! The schiester even lets a pit bull roam the reception area. The place is nasty and smells like dog release!!!
All you people that have been ram rodded by this place let the world know. Maybe we will have enough information for a class action suit.
