I brought by 2005 Dodge Van to have the brakes inspected for excessive squeeling. The employee stated that it would take one hour to inspect. Almost 4 hours later he calls to tell me that my rotors were too thin and needed to be replaced.

The cost with new pads was $656.00.

I refused and took it to the dealership and asked them to inspect the brakes. They advised that brakes were fine, and the squeeling was due to the material make of up of the pads themselves.

Brake Masters apparantly preys on unsuspecting customers to make a fast buck! Buyer beware with this company.
