Took my Expedition to this shop for an alignment. It had been aligned by one of their other shops less than 4 months ago and was showing inside tire wear so I called them and they said it was covered under their warranty. Bulls#*t. Got a call from them two hours later stating that the components in the front end were bad. Ball joints, tie rod ends, upper A arms and even wheel bearings. Wanted $1500 to repair or they would cancel the alignment and tire warranty.
Strange that these parts were supposedly worn out since I had just replaced all of them (and other critical components) two days prior to the last alignment.in other words, parts that were installed less than 4 months prior were bad?!?!?!?! I told them not to touch the car and I picked it up shortly thereafter.
I immediately took the vehicle to another shop where they allowed me to watch as they inspected the front end. To my amazement NONE OF THE PARTS WERE BAD. I had not told this shop why I wanted it checked or that it had been checked just hours prior.
Now I know that Tire Kingdom and its Corporate office could care less. H*l, they probably promote this type of practice. What I will do, however, is contact the BBB, tell everyone I know and work with, and anyone who I happen to talk to about this den of ripp-off artist. Hope they burn in h*l.
