Tire Warranty Not Honored

On Feb. 16 I bought 4 tires for my Ford at the Sears Store in Salina, KS. The tires carried a 65,000 mile warranty. On March 2, one year, 2 weeks and 25,000 miles later the tires were so bald that my service station refused to rotate them anymore. I went to Sears with my receipt and the warranty. The woman at the desk checked some records and said that I did not get my tires rotated at Sears and therefore I did not honor the agreement that covered the warranty. I asked her to show me the agreement that I signed but since there never was an agreement she did not produce one. I repeated that I wanted to see the agreement she was talking about and she told me that she did not have to stand there and take my yelling. She then said that is was not an agreement but a "policy." I asked to see the policy and she shuffled some papers, obviously finding no policy, and asked me why I would not get my tires rotated there when it was free. I told her I tried that once but I have a job and I could not wait an hour and a half for a tire rotation.By the way, they always say it will be an hour and half, even when there seems to be no other cars being serviced. Apparently Sears does not consider time as money. I asked to see someone higher up in authority but she said there was no one. I asked her that if she was sick and had to go home, who is the person she would tell and that is the person I wanted to see. She said that person was not in yet. Now, even if I continue this fight and win, do I want Sears to work on my car? Are the sales people reprimanded if they honor warranties? Why else would they be so difficult to work with? I called corporate and they knew of no "agreement" or "policy." They put me through to the manager that the woman said was out and he said they had a policy once but no longer. He asked me to come back and he would see what he could do. If I get tires from them under the warranty can I just get the tires and have a real mechanic install them?
